1. Who this policy covers

This policy explains how the Nusa Bridge team handles personal information through this website and its candidate, employer, and recruitment partner workspaces. It covers visitors, account holders, organisation representatives, and people who contact us.

For questions or privacy requests, contact admin@nusa-bridge.com. Where an employer, kumiai, support organisation, or other partner independently handles your information, that organisation is responsible for its own processing and privacy notice.

2. Information we handle

• Account information: your name, email address, authentication details, account role, and verification or recovery records.
• Candidate information: contact details, profile photograph or avatar, date of birth, nationality, location, education, work history, language ability, qualifications, career preferences, and other details you choose to submit.
• Documents: CVs, certificates, and supporting recruitment or identity documents you upload through the available document tools.
• Recruitment activity: profile submissions, review outcomes, application stages, candidate requests, interview arrangements, and related communications.
• Organisation information: employer or partner details, business contacts, hiring requirements, job listings, and workspace activity.
• Technical information: session identifiers, security events, and operational logs generated by the services used to run the platform. These may include IP address, browser information, and request timestamps.

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides account information such as your verified email address, name, and profile image to authenticate you. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, or your contacts.

We receive information from you, authorised organisation representatives, recruitment partners involved in your application, and the systems that operate the service. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information or another person’s documents without authority.

3. Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, maintain profiles, review submitted information, coordinate recruitment, manage organisation workspaces, arrange interviews, answer enquiries, and provide support. We also use relevant records to investigate misuse, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, and maintain service reliability.

Where applicable, processing relies on your consent, steps you ask us to take in connection with a service, performance of an agreement, a legal obligation, or another lawful basis available under the law. We request additional permission where it is required, including for particular disclosures or sensitive information. A platform account does not provide blanket permission for unrelated use.

4. Access and sharing

Candidate CVs, identity records, and private documents are not published in the public catalogue. Access within the platform is restricted by account role and the relevant recruitment relationship.

Relevant information may be shared with authorised Nusa Bridge staff, the employer or recruitment partner involved in your process, and service providers supporting authentication, database storage, document storage, hosting, or communications. We limit disclosures to the relevant purpose and obtain consent where required. Public job listings and company information intended for publication can be viewed without an account.

We do not sell personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or where legally permitted to protect people, prevent fraud, or establish or defend legal claims.

5. International processing

Nusa Bridge connects people and organisations in Indonesia and Japan. Recruitment information may need to be accessed in either country, and service infrastructure may process information in the countries where its providers operate.

Where a cross-border disclosure requires consent, recipient information, contractual safeguards, or another legal condition, that requirement must be met before the disclosure. You can ask our team about the recipients and locations relevant to your information.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The platform uses cookies needed for sign-in, session continuity, and account recovery. Blocking these cookies may prevent account features from working. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

The standalone workspace preview stores its working data in your browser’s local storage. Those local records are separate from your live account. Clearing the site’s browser data removes the local copy but does not delete information held in a live account. Avoid entering sensitive personal information into a shared-device preview.

The website does not currently include advertising trackers or optional analytics scripts. If optional tracking is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before it is used.

7. How long information is kept

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including an active account or recruitment process, and for any additional period required for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Retention depends on the type of record and the applicable obligation; there is no single retention period for every record.

When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or irreversibly anonymised. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten through the provider’s backup cycle. Any retained information must remain protected and limited to the reason for retention.

8. Keeping information secure

The platform uses authenticated access, role-based permissions, and private document access controls. Keep your sign-in credentials confidential, use a secure device, and sign out after using a shared computer.

No system can guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account or personal information has been accessed improperly, contact us promptly at admin@nusa-bridge.com. We will investigate and make any notifications required by applicable law.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or a copy of your information, correction of inaccurate records, withdrawal of consent, restriction or cessation of processing, or deletion. Other rights, including objections to certain processing and data portability, may apply in your circumstances.

You can update available profile fields in your account. For other requests, email admin@nusa-bridge.com from your registered email address and explain what you need. We may verify your identity using proportionate information before acting. Do not email passwords, one-time codes, or identity documents unless a secure verification method has been arranged.

Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We will explain if a request cannot be fulfilled fully because of a legal requirement or another lawful exception. 10. Young users

The platform is intended for people legally able to use its recruitment services. If you are below the age at which you can provide valid consent or enter the relevant arrangement, involve your parent or legal guardian before submitting information. Contact us if you believe information about a child has been provided without the necessary authority.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or an appropriate account communication where required.
